Cross-chat memory

Let OpenWorking carry context across sessions.

Cross-chat memory lets the agent remember facts and preferences across sessions, so you don't repeat yourself every time you start a new chat.

How it works

Memory is stored locally as part of your app-managed profile. Each memory holds one fact and is recalled when relevant to the current task.

Steps

  1. During a session, ask the agent to remember a fact or preference.
  2. Start a new session — the agent recalls relevant memories automatically.
  3. Review or clear stored memories from the Config screen.

Stays on your machine

Memory never syncs to the cloud. It lives in your local profile, like the rest of your OpenWorking data.
