Control the browser

Let OpenWorking drive the built-in browser to open pages, click, and read content.

OpenWorking can drive a built-in browser as part of a task — open pages, click, fill forms, read page content, and take screenshots. This is in-app browser automation, not full control of your operating system or other desktop apps.

Steps

  1. Open the Config screen and make sure the built-in browser tool is enabled.
  2. Go back to a session and ask the agent to open a website, for example: "Open example.com and summarize the pricing page."
  3. The agent navigates, reads the page, and reports back — clicking and filling forms as the task requires.

In-app browser only

Browser actions run inside OpenWorking's own browser. The agent cannot control arbitrary macOS, Windows, or Linux applications — only the pages it opens in that browser.
